I bought a set of King sized sheets in eggplant when they were on sale for a really low price. Obviously because I didn't pay as much as they are now, my opinions may be a bit skewed. If I had paid a lot of money for these sheets, I might not be as pleased with them. These are soft and the color is as stated. I got two extra pillow cases making it a total of six. The sheets are very soft and don't wrinkle easily. They fit my bed well. I washed them and they were not damaged in the wash nor were that very wrinkled. They didn't shrink.I am not a big purist when it comes to sheets. I use the ones that come in comforter sets and they're fine. My husband I only want clean, unripped, soft-ish sheets to sleep on. These are not for show but for sleep and we're fine with them. They are lightweight but not paper thin or anything. I mean, six pillowcases alone at a store cost more than the whole set even at the $35.00 price I have been seeing. These aren't luxury sheets and no one should expect them to be. I haven't had any issues thus far with them tearing or the seams unraveling. For us, they're fine. I picked up a set for my adult son and he's fine with them too. Maybe we're too easily pleased but these sheets are perfectly passable. If they do rip or have any issues as time goes on, I will update. For now I am going with 4 stars.
