For the cost, I was disappointed in the softness of these. I have had several sets from Bed Bath and Beyond that were slightly more expensive but only a 500 TC and still substantially softer than these. I am pleased with the size, we have a fairly thick mattress with a 2" topper and the fitted sheet easily covers everything with space to spare, the flat sheet is a bit larger as well which I also appreciate. I just wish these were as soft as the sets I have from BB&B (They didn't have them in this color, which is why I bought these).Hopefully they will soften up after a few more washes.I did not receive a Waterbed sheet set but just a regular CA King set. I would not order again. Quality is very poor and it did not stand up to a washing.ann Ekland
