The color is just as shown, BUT the sheets are very poor quality.I have always wanted satin sheets so I was excited for purple satin! I have a double pillow top Calfornia King, but the pockets were WAY too big for my bed. I couldn't even yawn without them slipping off. So I looked online and some people suggested sewing a strap diagonally on each corner so that when you put the sheet on something will hold it in place. Its helped but not enough.I went to wash them AS DIRECTED and they practically shredded. I cut down the edges and made it a smaller sheet and my son LOVES it. At least he is happy with the purchase.. In now hand wash in Dr. Bronner's soap and it does great.
