This is the third set of Tribeca flannel sheets my wife and I have purchased on Amazon. Every set has looked beautiful out of the box and the first two sets have worn like iron. However, this set's flat sheet (Gingham deer), while it feels of a similar high quality, has inexplicably started to tear lengthwise right down the middle. The fitted sheet and pillow cases are fine and the flat sheet has not been subjected to any force that might explain the tear, so I guess I'll have to chalk it up to a manufacturing flaw. Time to contact customer service. I'll update with results.Amended 1/23/19: Since I first reviewed this purchase events have compelled me to lower my rating from three stars to one. Please understand that the review is more about the seller than the manufacturer, although the manufacturer also bears some responsibility. As I stated above this sheet set was my third with the Tribeca brand. Previous sets have lasted well and are still in regular use. This new set developed a tear-like separation (see photos) in the flat sheet during the few days of its first use. After laundering the sheets I noticed an additional seam separation where the side panels join the top of the fitted sheet. Contacting the seller (LinensBargains) resulted in their asking for photos of the defects which I set to them. Today I received an email from the seller informing me that their return policy wouldn't allow them to accept the sheets because they had been washed. Attempting to verify this bizarre claim I spent over an hour reviewing both LinensBargains and Amazon return policy statements and was unable to locate any entry suggesting that defective sheets should be returned unwashed. LinensBargains did offer to refund 30% of the purchase price but that is entirely inadequate. Looked at another way, that would mean that I paid 70% to use a set of sheets for several nights only to have to throw them out because they fell apart. Tribeca received a black eye and it will be a while before I again buy that brand with confidence, but the real loser here is the seller. I don't purchase new sheets every week, but the impact of my experience is being communicated across my extended family. No matter what the seller thinks they gained by not simply making good on my purchase, I can say that they have not gained anything, and have likely lost quite a bit.I have to say I do like the pattern, and the sheets are very comfortable! But yes, the stitching does come apart at the seams. If you are handy with sewing you can easily stitch them back up. As consumers should we have to do this after only TWO washes? No certainly not. But truthfully that is the only reason for my lower score cause I do really like them.I really like these sheets, very soft and just thick enough. I bought this pattern to use for the Christmas season without being to Christmassy. Paired them with a navy blue velvet comforter and some plaid their pillows. Looks very niceOverall not bad sheets but they’re a little warm for the climate I’m in. Also the fabric started to get those ball things all over it after being washed a few times. Seemed to fade a little bit.High quality queen bed sheets. A Christmas gift for my daughter and son - in - law. The deers and trees toile sheets are ideal for their log bed frame . Delivered as promised.Amazingly soft, deep pockets. Color bled a bit even using cold but it’s okay...Very good fit, warm.Bought these for my kids and the love them. Thick and so comfortable. Would totally purchase them again!
